Once replies
with sighs and complecated screams
"where is my angel?"

and Penny breathes velvet
and porcelain whispers
of grace and waiting

"why are we here
from love inside fear
ghosts muzzled in my ear
of countless repair"
and they see themselves

they will fly
across the spaceless voids
alone
thrown away
all the silent vows
and they will gaze
into the mirror spade
of love
and they will walk now
into the vast sunset

her diamond eyes consume
all of the surrounding air

as Penny moves in

with love on a whim
