Oh fair maiden, with deep dark brown hair
You called out for help, but no one seemed to care
Captured these many years in bordum and unrest
Enslaved in a muddy rut, you have on a torn dress
Your prison has no bars, but chains keep you anyway
Your eyes have been blinded to any love that comes you way
Within your breast is a heart that is broke
No issues of life, you cough and you choke
And all your hope seems gone, now only despair
Will this be the end, caught in death's stare
But little did you know, when you called out that day
A tiny dove flew by and heard you pineing away
He flew onward north toward his masters home
Landing gently near him he called with a moan
And told the great king of a maiden needing love
Trapped in stagnation with no help from above
Laden with weights heavy very hard to bear
Dying in silence, in death's dark chair
And the king sends his son to answer the need
He mounts and rides on his own strong white stead
His contanance is shining as bright as the sun
Clothed in armor thats for a battle thats already been won
The victory cry has been given and hes going in to gather
The ones trapped in sin, will they just answer
Believe in him, and he will set you free
From your chains that bind and he will make the blind see
A new heart will he give so that you can feel
And bring you into the light, yes he can heal
The rider will also wash you from the miry clay
And set your feet on a good firm path to stay
You will bloosom as a flower and sing as a dove
You will walk and not be weary, your heart filled with love
And the marriage of the maiden to the Son will take place
She will be glorious, dressed in white, not disgrace
And together they will be throughout all eternity
Their love will know no end
Forever free from sin
