Fear Part II - 2014

Fear Part II – 2014

Fearlessness is the flip side of fear. The pen's might is my best and only possible weapon or justice is a myth. The gun is mightier than the pen or the sword, and the mind is still a terrible thing to waste. Justice is for the downtrodden, otherwise what's a heaven for. When the poor or powerless are targeted and abused, killed, maimed, emotionally crippled, then heroines and heroes are necessary.

There is no money in it, fighting for those who do not understand their entrapment. There is reward in following ones conscience and one's beliefs. Lenin had one thing right, there is no change without struggle. Peace comes after the war. Dead in Michigan from white males, dead all over the country from white males, black dead in the past and unreported as white males. The war is a very real thing. People are angry white and black and hispanic and native american, and chinese, all U.S. Citizens not happy with their not receiving their piece of the respect pie. The right to live free of fear must become the priority without the excuses.

Advancement is slow or nonexistent for many, white included. It is no longer a race issue, it is a justice and fairness issue. We all pay taxes, we all deserve a return of dollars to our neighborhoods, not just for the rich, the uber rich, and the filthy rich. The military has had its share of the U.S. dollar.

The people will make signs and march but ultimately, justice has to become visible and transparent. It will happen. Not anarchy, order and equity under the laws of man, god, and nature. Natural law is real. Mother wit and street knowledge is real. Never to forgive, never to forget is a valid defense. All we have to do now, the challenge for the hour, is to make the transition from the oral tradition to avid readership. Literacy is the guardian & keeper of true freedom from fear. - I'm just sayin'.

 Well as a wannabe Writer,

Well as a wannabe Writer, Trashcan poet and Whiskey Philosopher

I have to agree with the Ideology.
But as a Rebel one step from being Outlawed , A Street Fighter turned Soldier And just a general deep wood's Country Boy  .
I'm not ready to beat My sword's into plowshares . I don't live in fear but then I'm not fearless . I've seen Humanity at it's worst .Fought by the rules till it was obviously not going to work.
Then sold My soul to the Devil to become one damn good guerilla Fighter ........... it's sad to say but I don't think souls like mine could live in a world of complete Peace .... But if it's going to be done I think the way is to start is with the newest of the generations.
Teach them to love Now and maybe then later People like me won't have to teach them to kill ?

Every story-teller bends the myth to his own purpose. that's why a Hero has a thousand faces

Dear Deep Woods

Your longest comment yet, me thinks, sir. I almost did not post it. It was part of a reply to Bishu, then I switched to Word and let it fly - the series is a spirit cleansing. Periodically, I write a purge poem, this is sort of purge prose. What I think I think. There will always be room for booze in my half filled orange juice glass. To kill is an intersting infinitive. A warrior's perspective - a reminder of what war is and how/why it does what it does - with gratitude ~ Lady A
