It has been a weird week for me! Happiness sparked like a fire cracker and it was a block breaker buster kind of explosion. Bits and pieces of joy fell from nowhere, smiles happened. I wish this feeling on everyone: women in jail, men in asylums, children in bad homes, the poverty stricken, the homeless. Just a few seconds (wink of the eye duration) of unrelenting emotions overflowing with overwhelming wonderfulness.
.
Some say this is from God (Allah, Krishna, insert deity of your choice) a sense of bliss. I say, death is tapping me on the shoulder again and it is a prelude to something inexplicable that I am totally prepared for in every way possible. Joy to you is my wish in this moment, a flash of the fire of human fun. I wish you silliness and giddiness and laughter that is hard to end. May you dance on pinheads and ride the backs of cows over the moon (unless you have a fear of small places or a fear of flying). This is a holiday bling fling thing.
.
Humor and wit are the precursors to contentment. Thinking of the world as slightly askew, seen through the prism known as nostalgic beauty wrapped in a summer that finally got here. You waited patiently for it through the Fall and Winter, knew it was close when the crocuses sang and the robins came home, summer strained through storms and floods and a million and one decisions to finally arrive to make you a grin, then a smile, then a laugh out loud that cleanses the year of too much unsightly stuff. Look in the mirror and say, "You deserve it!"
.
Mirth is my wish for you. A chuckle from a funny bone's tickle. I'm talking antics of a two year old in a puddle of water happy. Let pain and agony, debt and dumb, cold and burned, the singed and sappy slide off the skin and run away leaving you simply an uncomplicated flippancy.
.
Life is fine! Be well and smile, then go back to your life. With hearts and hugz - I sincerely bid every poet (and especially Jason) at postpoems.org/user
Happy 4th of July 2013 (Kaboom!)
