My sensitivity for catching lies
sent as truth arises suddenly. When
you are caught confess with denial,
blush, back up, be invisible
in your prevaricativity.
.
Just try to tell it without embellishment
not how you wish it to look better.
Rain will always be wet, fire
will always singe. Like sin,
go out and lie no more.
