Absolutely true! Just when we see some progress, we're back in a prehistoric hellscape of hate and ignorance. How I wish I could argue with your assessment that our "symbols mean/ the statue/ of servitude", but I can't.

Grow, corruption is attracted, wealth horded, poorer denizens powerless - except todays trend. They quit. Oh oh. Trouble in paradise. Overnight, gas went up ten cents in Michigan to $4.80. And I refuse to pay three dollars for one orange. A message will run screaming back up the supply chain soon.
