I Shared a Petal

Where the soil is dark,

And, endless tears bathe its skin,

Lies a flower with beauty equal to none.

She smiles with her azure petals

As she senses the life around her blooms.

The waters near her thrive at her feet,

And find felicity under her shadow.

On a whim, I took her.

And she grew.

She grew on my arms,

My chest, and my lips.

Blue devoured me, and I became it.

I shared a petal with myself,

And bathed under her shadows.

Became a vessel of sin.

a beautiful poem... I don't

a beautiful poem... I don't believe in sin... only in mistakes from which we learn
