My Father's Motorcycle

After all the hard work and dedication of several years, my father was able to achieve his goal of earning his own motorcycle. He bought a Carabela and since that day on, he does not have a specific like on choosing which type to ride. Since little, my father acquired a big passion for motorcycles. His passion was so big that when I got old enough to ride one, he decided to surprise me and buy me one as a Christmas gift so I could share with him this big agony that he had. Since that day, no motorcycles were abandoned in the garage and were ready to head the lead for some trips. Saturday mornings were full of new experiences, traveling to Villa de García and Santiago, carrying on the joy of having some great time together; never wanting to go back home, night have to come and home was waiting for us. There was my mom at the door waiting so desperate to see us be looking fine. Coming back home was so exhausting after a long day full of fun and new great experiences. This hobby that we used to share was so amazing because day by day it gave us more union and definitely such a big improvement in our father-son relationship. Time passed, I started growing up and my passion for motorcycles began to dispel because of the different type of interests I began to like. I don’t ride them anymore, but that doesn’t stops my father to keep on having fun with what he loves doing and even though he’s getting older and have lose some of the abilities and capacities to ride motorcycles he keeps on doing the good work on what he likes and goes out to have some fun with his friends. Motorcycles have always been a dangerous sport since it involves many stunts, so every time he goes out of the house to practice his passion I wish he comes back just as he left, now I get my mom’s feeling when I was younger and I used to go with my dad and she needed to stay at home for the while we were out. The day that my dad cannot practice his devotion for this sport will have to come, but that doesn’t mean that his passion for motorcycles will be over, there will always be a space for the good memories that he had with me and all the friends he appreciates.
