Strength Through The Darkness

Their feathers fell from the higest peaks and landed softly on winters covering blanket of mornings first light as if we are to feel their embrace.

We sit and watch the sighs from last eves passing clouds drift slowly across the sky, as we slowly slip from all grace into the dark we are taken, our faith has been lost.

Yet something withholds us from falling, the firm grip of our farther’s hand holding as if we were to slip away into forever darkness, yet light hearts will attempt to guide us with their wings of gold for salvation awaits us all, never shall we crumble or wane but fight against the dark our battle has not yet ended and our fate is not yet set but never will we fall again.

strength through the darkness:

Your faith is commendable; just loved your poem. So eloquently written yet so straight forwardly. Your poem is a good read my interest was held right to the end.
