This poem is for you little one

So precious and so new

God bless your spirit Adrianne

God bless your parents too



The Love your parents share each day

Grows longer with each setting sun

Now from their love created they

You, their "Dearest One"



And Kathy will with tender care

Learn one day to another

The greatest gift from God she'd bear

Is being called your mother



Dave's calling came with quiet sound

He now wears a father's face

A prouder man could not be found

When his child he does embrace



God bless your parents with patience

With the struggles that they'll face

For through this child's innocence

Their hearts you did embrace



God bless your parents with knowledge

For your questions will be many

The who's?, the why's?, the how comes?

Of this world so new to  Anne



And may the love your parents share

Be unconditional with each new day

For a time may come, when you will dare

To test their love some way



And may your parents find wisdom

That they might guide and teach

All the things that you should know

So that your goals...you'll reach
