A Meeting Discussing the Run-Away Train Called Ignorance

Are you happy now? You’ve made a choice I’ll never forget

You’ve already forgotten the downside

You’re trading in your freedom so you can feel safe

You’ll spend your life a prisoner as long as you can hide.

All aboard the freedom train

Cause we all deserve a chance

A chance to prove we’re something more

But I have other plans

Come on hey hey the freedom train

You can say anything you like baby

But the cost is lil more grave (hey hey)

And the money ain’t worth the stay, you gotta pay

All aboard hey hey the freedom train

You can do what you want to do

Only problem is the others on the freedom train

Want more so they take it from you choo choo

Choices

Are all we have

To make our life worth standing

But Choices are never easy

The world is so demanding

Our existential purposes are hardly ever clear

So if you’re looking for the answers

Then don’t bother lookin’ here

But the freedom to make that choice is nice

Though making them is never fun

This day in age we choose who lives and dies

Just be sure not to choose the wrong one (no fun)

Come on hey hey the freedom train

You can say anything you like baby

But the cost is lil more grave (hey hey)

And the money ain’t worth the stay, you gotta pay

All aboard hey hey the freedom train

You can do what you want to do

Only problem is the others on the freedom train

Want more so they take it from you choo choo

Choosing how to look how think how to feel

Is the image we portray

We choose who we are, unless we’re different

Being Arabic or gay (no say)

No say in who we are; just a stereotype

The choices will be made

No say in what we do; we’re all the same

And that’s just how the game is played.

But imagine a place that is actually free

Off the rails of our train of thought

Looks good on paper so why don’t we see

All the colors of our melting pot

Coming one and for all together as one

To a make a rainbow of freedom as a team

Then finally his work would be done

The man who said “I have a dream”

But instead of a rainbow there’s the freedom train

Stuck to the rails hypocrisy

And people'd rather ride than  to watch it rain

So the rainbow fails to be (They can’t see)

Come on hey hey the freedom train

You can say anything you like baby

But the cost is lil more grave (hey hey)

And the money ain’t worth the stay, you gotta pay

All aboard hey hey the freedom train

You can do what you want to do

Only problem is the others on the freedom train

Want more so they take it from you choo choo
