On the PBS series "Confucius Was a Foodie", Molly Peacock quoted an unnamed Chinese poet: "Write a thousand poems, keep one."
Well, I have written at least a thousand poems, - I have not pooped it all of them (I'm not going to sit this dick). The previous was written by my voice to text and I'm leaving it. Now, what I said was: I have not posted all of them, (I'm not that sadistic). - weirdly, that was written on voice to text as well.
Anyway (that alone took three tries), the vaguely remembered point was, my wondering which - if any - of the previous month's poems would be worth keeping.

I applaud that quotation from Plato provided by our postpoems neighbor, Stephen. Now I am off to search for the dialogue in which Plato wrote that.
