I wave my hand in front of me
I watch it pass over all I see
Through my eyes plays life's movie
I touch a tree to remind me this is reality
Life does not always seem like it is real
So I reach out for something to feel
I touch the grass, the dirt, or maybe a tree
I do this just to remind me
To remind me this life is real
To remind me this isn't all some cruel dream
Because so much of the time that is just how it seems
I stare at the stars at night and ask one thousand whys
I feel the night breeze and for a bit feel at ease
This silence is so refreshing, an escape from society
I don't really care if I ever go back to all its insanity
Wave your hand in front of your face
Take your mind to a quiet place
Think of all the buried questions in your head
The ones you start to think about but you then suppress instead
Look at the flowers intricate design
Taste, touch, smell, sound
So many amazing things to be found
Rain on a spring day
Beauty we all ignore due to our selfish ways
Pumpkins in the sun in the fall
So much to see around us all
Look at the great things that you are too busy to see
We are all too busy rotting in our prison of society
Through our eyes plays life's movie
With all its beauty and all its insanity

It is quite the strange movie, me thinks. So much drama in society. It's real nice to just be close to nature and breathe.
