Nocturnes: Those "Autumn Frosts Have Slain July"

[after Lewis Carroll's poem, "A Boat Beneath A Sunny Sky"]

Accustomed warmth plunges to chills,
and certain, random whores must die
as some marked predator pursues his kills;

receiving from his efforts ghastly thrills
