Consider all the people Jesus feeds

by simply offering a grateful prayer;

and all the sick folks healed.  He meets our needs.

He can relieve these burdens that we bear.

Crown him our King, that he may take away

our tedious labor in the heat of day;

then crush the local government of Rome,

and drive their louts and legions from our home.

Caesar must import lots of Egypt's grain.

But Jesus' bread?---more than enough to spare;

and all who are entitled have a share.

Crown him at once, and we will stand to gain

a land wherein the politics are fair,

and health for all, without illness and pain.
