Epigram To Apologize To C.3.3.

The differences between us tempted me to judge

you harshly.  For most of my life, I bore this grudge.

I disliked how you slandered Princess Salome

(not Princess of Judea---you missed that detail).

To me it really was a most offensive play.

But dislike does not mean disgust ought to prevail.

Although, myself, I have rejected your lifestyle,

that does not give me right or calling to revile

So I, a humbling Christian saved and born again

and very much aware of my forgiven sin

and Christ's word I am brought under obligation

to offer you forgiveness in reciprocation

before you even ask:  I ask you, C.3.3

to be more gracious than I was, and grant to me

acceptance of this overdue apology.
