partied all night with Dionysus I am wired for words

written with an older pen and the hunger remains

lately only the darkness is heard

lose myself before I go insane
a cut that quickens spies on ecstasy
find my lover tonight rhyming in melody

this is not some in vogue poetry slam

never been  a wham bam thank you mam

never been that kind of man

never had eyes stippled with delicate stars of an also ran

seeking my girl who needs to be kissed

she holds her breath on the kiss she missed
cannot resist her full and supple lips

got to connect before a total eclipse

breathe with me lover in full moon want

as recite my words from there typeset font
then I wake to a broken spell another dream in the night

let me go back to sleep to the enchanted delight
