it is the gathering illusion

was I ever really here?

or, was I never seen
do my eyes deceive?
Presque vu
perhaps, I was almost seen
what is it?
was it real ?
what do I believe?
I imitate the intimate
temporal lobe tells me to reach for her globes
not a simple measure
something more than physical treasure
I’d like to achieve all pleasure
in such extensive experience
affected by those unconscious desires
they lead me into wishful thinking
of present and past
the rolls I am cast
from first to last
cursed to be last then wishing for first
something always unrehearsed
