from wave to wave

Sun drenched scorching sands

sunblock all over me

yes, it is summer at last and that storm

so, many fabricated words like pain and loss

flow into the sea of language
waves instigate as swirling shoals trawl

In a Jersey shore drawl

no not that BENNY speak

no, I mean the words of old Barneget light

summer at last before winter comes to steal my language
from my lips unpackaged these words are endless
the river published, and the sea read that to the bay

the one near, that I hear, I hear those jetty words
as I plunge off the pier from wave to wave

thank you, Ashley

it is a metaphor that symbolically expresses my deep love, my somewhat spiritual love of the salt marshes, the shore, the creeks and bays.

The people and the characters that I like to call home New Jersey...

Peace
