beauty
in brown marshes
October sun shone
through their golden stacks
pour a flood light down on the greens shedding
cherish
the straight appendage
as leaves tremble
in glorious October look over your bare shoulders
at special scenes
kind and abandoned
as the full moon takes you away
I cannot comprehend why a poem of this beauty, of intensity to this degree, has not yet received any comments; but I feel privileged to be the first.
