sandman

I saw the moon as I never saw it before.

Black as night then it went down to the shore.

Exposed by my sensuous smile I part her lips.

Given all this, I rise on the horizon.

I hunt for my dreams in a dark ocean abandoned.

I am a sandman a thousand times a day.

I stand up and the sea washes me away.

Turn me over to the dark side of the moon.

Veil my mystical mystery from stars whose radiance fades.

I am behind the secrecy of dunes on evenings that I cannot persuade.

Twilight desires me but I am just doing my time.
