an image, that seeks its persona

are these my fantasies or my memories

can you make me believe in extinct emotions

I can't hear the soft whisper of the wake from the waves

I can’t see the ebb and flow of tides high or low

those deep bayshore waters that shimmer

warm and wet within the moon's reflection

like an image that seeks its persona

as the seas surface is disturbed

it disperses and  radiates for hours into doubt

searching for the meaning of those rippled rings

almost by accident they drift away

I try and fail to harvest them

unable to touch you I cannot find a way to follow my dreams

"Well, it's love, but not as we know it."

I have never seen the sea.

I have never seen the sea. The curse of my landlocked location, yet the sea seems mystical to me, mythological even. I can't help but romanticize to a point that when for the first time I do walk on that sand I won't help but to be disappointed. Your words remind me that even if you follow your dreams that doesn't mean you'll catch them, and even if you do that doesn't mean they won't disappoint you. Damn I sound pessimistic. Anyway Lady A was quite right, I thoroughly enjoyed this too.

Long days and pleasant nights
