BLOOD RED MOON

hue

of scarlet

see the moon

a teasing illusion to my eyes

and here on earth the willows wail

an allusion of gilded hair raining low

harmlessly an elusive trait unto the dawn

summarily all other poets see only char,

bleak, basics

until it is revealed in
the sun’s desired

light

until concentrations so formidable,

a dismal tempest

blackens

I consecrate

rushing on piercing squalls

and dare any visuals that risk reward

The Skys Are Miraculous

Especially in winter at night. There is much beauty to be found if sought and much magic experienced when felt. I love this write - allets

Another scarlet rush across

Another scarlet rush across my heart reading this lovely yet visceral description of the lunar bloodless bathing across the night sky. Hugss
