she doesn't remember
anymore
there is no one here who does
no one looks up now
no one looks down either
no one sees with sideway glances
as if no one is there
if they squint they still can’t see
it is like no one has sight
anymore
there are no havens
a shelter she will never have
but her thoughts haunt
and hunt her
waves of concessions forming the final swells
confessions that ebb in time
all diffuse
and fading
into surreptitious situations
within constant confusion
circling down as they drift
as if to linger tired and agonized
while crying around disruptions
which terribly never decline
until, it doesn't matter
it doesn’t matter
anymore
Very powerful poem, a great
Very powerful poem, a great truth sadly, told here.
A Great Line
"...no one looks up now/no one looks down either..." It seems like life is like that sometimes - where is the direction coded leadership? - Read 2x - to be immersed in the voice. Nice - Lady A
