It's the day when you're leaving

Leaving to the city of opportunity

I know what I said hurt

It hurt me too

but there are no regrets on my side

There's not enough to say or

to even explain

This tug of war can't go on for another round

It's got nothing to do with everyone else

just me and you

Forgive, move on

or leave, never turn back

I dreamt last night of a look in your eyes

that you turned away and never looked back

If that's how it's gonna be,

I'm prepared

Never backing down

I'll always back up what I said that day

It's too late for second guessing

Everything's out in the open

I'm through with all these mind games

There's no room for wondering

only for answers

I've been paying for a heavy price

and I'm tired of that burden

I just want my friend back

When you want to come back...
