It makes me feel so alive

As if I never knew what it felt like to be afraid to die

You are worth every joy, hurt, moment

Your touch... It’s what I’ve waited for, always

I need you like how the mountains need the sunset for its beauty

I wouldn’t say I’m out of the woods yet

But baby... your voice can lead me towards refuge

Your body against my body... breath to breath

It’s the moment I live for

You are my home where I run to, where I love to be

It felt so true... saying I do to you

Anywhere... or here... I say I do, now and forever

You give me so many reasons to keep going

and I’ll keep going for you

Lord, I love this man... I love him truly

So this is why I stay... not letting go

Not giving in to the glass half empty

Tasting your lips and inhaling forever
