Op. 92: II. Allegretto
A day of dance in song and mirth.
Raven cries of Springtime's birth,
Of flowers golden in the sun, we've only just begun.
Princes in the night watch the stars streak by
As fireflies light the sky, only some may die.
But music in our hearts will be deftly woven.
The air calls on all things that listen
To join in the dance of graceful wisdom.
Can you see in my eyes what's happened?
Sweet music and rapture fills my ears,
Hand in hand with you through all the years.
Never could such dreams be spoken.
Time has taken its bow, the night has passed.
We've woven the eternal dance at last,
Dream time has spent its final token.
Awake! the eyes have seen wonders.
Only things of the wind must we ponder,
The melody of our dreams must never be broken.
Jeremy, I love each word of this, except for the two 'ands' in the very first line! Good work, all in all! Emotionally packed!
