I wrote this after watching the movie again and felt compelled to write about after Juliet had awaken only to find Romeo dead. The thoughts someone might have in that position, especially at that age had to have been overwhelming. By that point, she felt she had nothing left to lose; she couldn't go back to her family and there was no one else for her. To think she almost had him back, had finally found a way to be happy only to have it snatched from her grasp, it really is a tragic thought, and I can't help but wonder everytime I see their story told how it could have been different. What if they had just said something to their families? Or what if they were okay with denouncing their families' names? What if Romeo had gotten the message? Or if Juliet had awoke before he had a chance to take his own life? There's only so many what if's you can ask before you decide it's no use dwelling on it, but the questions will always remain.
