Before I write this, I just want to say I really don't write poetry very often, but I wrote this the other day, and I wanted to post it somewhere, so here it is!
What?
Am I not clear enough?
Do you not see my pleas for help?
I want to be pretty.
I want somebody to look at me and call me beautiful.
Nobody does.
If I was skinny maybe they would.
Less food,
Less fat.
It works.
I will be pretty.
I want to be liked.
I want somebody to call me theirs.
Nobody does.
If I was quiet maybe they would.
Less talking,
Less annoying.
It works.
I will be liked.
I want to be noticed.
I want somebody to hold me and say they'll help me.
Nobody does.
If I had scars maybe they would.
More scars,
More unique.
It works.
I will be noticed.
Right?
