Who is to Judge , Most Poem's , Lyrics or Stories come from a line Read or a Lyrics Heard. Something said over a Cup of Coffee or a Beer, maybe a few Beer's . I've done It...But I always put it up front. If I took the first line from someone else....Put 5 of us in a room and throw out the 1st line . And You Will Get 5 Different versions .

the line you refer to is a song lyric from Piano man by Billy Joel and it has been played thousands of times and heard over and over not said merely once by someone. To someone who has never heard that song they would wrongfully believe your line and be totally mislead. In poetry try to be a little more true to your lines.
