Bright blue skies on a darkened day,
The sun surrounds vibrant flowers.
Dripping with dew the rain pours,
Into the distant basin.
Along with thousands of leaves,
From obscure trees.
Amidst the valley,
Rays of the sun beaming bright.
Like a Colorado sunrise,
Insects hide,
In the shelter of Mother Nature.
The terrace of green sheltering life,
Thousands of ants marching,
Up the canopy of life.

Decaying leaves falling apart,
Among the alcove of anguish,
Marching back before torrents of distress approach.
Back home outside are leaves,
Gusts take them away from this forsaken place,
Away from pain,
Drops appear.
Frigid little feeling,
As fires trapped under abyssal amounts of snow,
Cry for release.
Melting snow turns into tides of tears,
The end of suffering is indeed near.
