Trickling, slowly, slowly through the leaves,
The dappled light, it dances on my face,
And on my resting finger a Ladybird does crawl,
Her crimson back and bold, black spots, remind me of my place,
To her the humans are a steady race,
Pillars, rocks, she knows nothing of our hearts,
of our minds and of our souls she knows nothing,
Without a second care, form her staion she departs,
A wise man passing through the trees,
He stops and kneels down,
He says that in my eyes he sees,
Confusion, turning frown,
" You wonder, child, what makes you sing and dance,
What causes happiness and confidence?
How we do dream, then in the day,
Each man does wake, and then does make his own and special way,
Conscience, heart, the soul and mind,
Emotions- Love and fear,
Sadness, silence, loneliness,
Spill forward as a tear,
We taught ourselves to learn and grow,
We taught ourselves to speak,
Our words sing courage, faith and hope,
No human's ever weak.
