I met you as a vampire, I was after just a feed

But as time tolled I gained more indeed

You were there as people loved to leave me

You would tell me its ok. you gave me what I need



The bond between us grew, blood bound strong

I put all my feelings into more than one song

Words of love and need, I sang till you were gone

Neither of us thought it could go so wrong



I would call you every day for a hour or so

Telling you I needed you when I felt low

I never ever not once,  heard you say no

Until that day you were gone and I had to go



I lost my best friend, to fates cruel hands

You slipped through my fingers, just like sand

I went crazy as I lost you, stark raving mad

Knowing my friend, was lost in a foggy land



Now I myself am lost in the fog, seeking an end

Now its my heart and trust, that no one can mend

Once im found I promise, I will try to find you again

Simply because I cant live, without my best friend
