Distance keeps our bodies apart

But it never stops our hearts

I weep sometimes because I'm in pain

I hide that from you

I don't want you to make assumptions

That I can't handle this

Every night in my dreams

We make vivid memories

I kiss you, and hold you

And I feel your soul

I pretend my dreams are real

I pretend  I'm not alone.
