your gone never to come back

you were my guidor my idol my father

mine was gone and you were here

you took me under your wing and lead the way

no one told you to but you did

you loved me unconditionally

you taught me everything and brought me up right

then you left so suddenly

like a bad dream over night

i felt no reason to live

and i blamed myself for everything

and to this day i still do

i wish i could wake up and see you

i'm sorry

i know your in heaven looking over us and leading the way

thank you grandpa i love you

please forgive me

i know i've done some wrong in my life since you've been gone

i'm sorry

i thought i had no leader no one who cared

but you still do and you still are

lead the way help me get back on your path to righteousness
