More then life itself,
I prize you, my friend,
For your infinite patience and kindness.
For with you, I have found peace,
I have found happiness,
But most importantly,
I have found true friendship.
The time we have known each other,
Doesn't span much more than 2 years,
But I feel as if I've known you,
Since the dawn of time itself.
Through whirlwinds and thunderstorms,
Your presence was constant,
Your kindness illuminating,
Your friendship invaluable.
But now I'm gone,
Without ever having said my goodbye,
Unable to turn back time,
Looking towards bleak future,
I shall say goodbye when I next can,
