Crying, napping

Hiding out in the folds of your bed

The only thing you love that'll never

All the dreams, they've stopped

But they never did anything for you, anyway

Just when you think you're on top

Something always slaps that smile off of your face

And you don't want anyone to see you cry

So you fake an expression

Even though you're lost inside, and

Does it have to happen today

Can't it just wait

Hold off, until my world isn't already broken

Holding hands, with words unspoken

And how

Could you ever jerk me around

Kiss my lips without a sound

At least now, I know, not to waste anymore time
