The road that was in front of me
Dense fog and dreary sights
Drain the vitality in me
Devout of all understanding
Washed to the shores from the storm
Slowly I rise to see clouds covering
The light that once shined upon me
Lost to the darkness, unable to find
The ignition to light my fire
Looking in the distance
Only to find nothing
It's nothing that comforts me
Dare I walk away?
Dare I stay to see
How our fates will intertwine
Our life stricken destiny
Like foliage to the eyes
Covering the dirt beneath the stems
Covering the madness that dwells inside
Where do we stand? How do we continue?
Does it all end here...
Upon the shores that carried our bodies
Let the dark tides cover me
Allowing to become my skin
No longer do tears escape these eyes
Only bleeding for the love they seek
