The calm before the storm
The moon shining ever so brightly
Cherry blossoms float about the air
In a graceful honor of peace and tragedy
In the world of the dead
Time has no bearing
Carving your name on the stonewall
It’s around me
That eerie feeling that I get
When I call your name about
The spirits won’t let me stay
A calling that I hear from afar
Echoing across the night sky
Closing your eyes
You expose your heart to let me stay
I shall be the one to mend your broken wings
The blood-soaked will of this fallen angel
Is your ultimate tragedy to the truth you seek?
And the grudge you bear
To sheath your fangs at god
To take back what you’ve lost
Look in his eyes of pain and destruction
That fateful night to which we witnessed
A death taken courtesy of the mortal
His own flesh and blood did he desire to steal
A life that was not rightfully his
His desires overcame his mind
Released suffering with a single slice
Nothing will be the same now that he’s taken the other life
A dreadful comparison
From an angle so unsubtle with the essence of fate
Your thoughts are nothing without actions
Carving your name on the wall
I carve that day in that you went away
All hearts turned to stone
The weight too much to carry
Never will you laugh or cry
Moving deeper into my core
My soul traps you inside
A personal cage that seemed to keep him in eternal suffering
Take nothing and gather you will feel the pressure
Bursting inside of your mind, exploding with dead pleasures
That feast on the black of the night
Sinful structures build my heart
Thoughts so devious that you’d never know
That right behind you
Stands the murderer of life
Cuffing her eyes
Grabbing her wrists
A deadly pact of the truth
