While on my bed,
A question was asked.
You said yes!
Our life was light
Down the aisle you walked down,
I then became complete.
You are my light.
You are so bright.
Thru the years darkness came.
The flame went out.
Life was dark.
What happened?
I do not know.
Engulfed
Lost
Alone
Sadness
Pain
Depression
All hope gone.
I then looked up into the night sky,
The light came down.
It hit me hard,
I fell to the ground.
Happiness
Warmth
Love
Kindness
Struck me hard.
You are my light,
You are so bright.
Looking up I went to you
You are my light.
I will always need you
I will always love you.
You are my light,
You are so bright,
Darkness came once again,
It has ended,
It will never return,
What once was bright,
Is now lost,
Overwhelmed,
Shattered,
Engulfed in Darkness,
Shrouded by fear,
What am I to do.
