Lost within these transfix with the poisoned dagger
On its blood stained edge thrusting myself onto it

I run deeper into my insanity, the Phantom that I am
I will always be.  I am lost within
'til I feel clean of yesterday's love

Breaking the blade, keeping the tainted within
Sewing myself close, drinking the poison

and drown into the depths of toxic waste.
The Phantom I am, I will always be
I am swimming, and floating into the madness
'til I shore onto the bliss of tomorrow's hope

I say goodbye, though I am scarred
and carry her with me.

I am always on the Highway
Therefore I am always the Phantom
Running soles on the asphalt
Dragging down more fiends
More scars to stain my soul
Better than drinking
'cause now I grin straight
