Our parents have lived our lives more than twice,
Yet we think they know nothing at all
We must ask ourselves “What Would Jesus Do?”
Whether we know it or not, our parents influence us too
We go through the day not giving a shit
If he or she got fired, or if they even quit
Our parents have brought us up with all their strengths and weaknesses
Our parents will be there through our depressions and our sicknesses
Our parents want to be nothing like theirs
Because their parents never cared
As the years go by children take parents for granted
Believe it or not, your children realize.
