we danced the black velvet sky

among the stars,

scattering to the winds

glittering remnants,

stardust’s enchanting lure

blankets the heavens,

tempting our desires,

as love’s boundaries whirl

in moonlit dreams,

and in each other’s arms, passions

erupt, like meteors blazing

their worth, and we know

from the smile of eyes, and soft of lips,

that the moment discovered,

was destiny’s promise.
