I don't need roses or chocolates or jewelry to adorn myself.  

All I want from you is to be there for me.  

I don't need your money or your car or your house to live in,

I can provide for myself.  

All I need is you.  

If I know you are there for me no matter what I can be content.  

Don't buy me things to keep me happy,

those won't do the trick.

I need your love to do that for me.  

I need your heart and soul.  

I do not want you to be distant from me,

I need you to be close.  

I am asking for nothing else if we are going to be together,

I just need you to be there.
