I cried the day I shot her
Falling to my knees as her body fell into the sea
I never meant to hurt her
Really, I was trying to give her an escape
She just got in the way.
I saw the look she gave me right before she took the plunge
She knew why I had done it
She had hesitated before when she had the chance to kill me
She was doubting the power that her master had
Beginning to doubt him in her heart
