What's with such intelligence
Held within these books of science and research
Of human performance and the limits of body, mind, and spirit
Oh, sliding filament
You explain so well
The unquestionable marriage of chemicals
To the life inside of muscle
But, your theory continues to wrestle with
The part love plays in the process
And, in that, you fail
We work so hard to explain away mysteries
Until we begin to believe ourselves
That 95 out of 100
Is enough to pin the word fact on an opinion
Truth's ratio is 1:1
So, how is 95 out of 100 enough to be true?
And, what now should I believe as truth
When everything man-made and man-conceived is bound to fail eventually?
Someone please tell me
What's with an intelligence that fails 5 times out of every 100 tries?
Cause, that ain't 1:1
