Lord, in my time of need
Teach me words to pray
Teach me how to see
The fruits of Your will in my wait
Instead of the failures of my own erring ways
Lord, in my time of want
Teach me how to be content
Teach me the fault
In my own desires, and let
Me fail in my attempt to collect upon them
Give me faith to trust You when I am tossed by the waves
When I am lost in my own erring ways
And, when I believe my strength is enough
Lovingly break me, and prove to me that it's not
Lord, in my time of need
Save me from who I am
Lord, in my time of want
Break me into a malleable man
And, mold me in Your Potter's hands
Into a more trusting, willing
Vessel of Your plans
