"Who's that walking through our valley?"
Dodging glances shooting my way
"Walking through our sacred land,
The boy from high atop that mountain."
He must have fallen
Taken heed
The more you climb, boy
The less you need
But, the less you need, boy
The less you see
It got so lonely touching Heaven
Carrying out conversations with my own image
Cause, though you can learn a lot, it's never enough
To make it worth all you've given up
Down in this lowly land
Where bread and wine are fought for
It's hard thinking back
Looking up at where I was
And, not wonder why
Or, what I came down for
Now, I see the truth in their lie
That lowly souls can see so much more
Though, now I know it's not with eyes
But, with what a heart can long for
"Who's that walking through our valley?"
They said of me
