May sugar be bitter compared to your dreams

I wish this for you and your unconscious thoughts

And come morning I pray that you laugh and find love

In the cracks of memory that you bore in the dark

I sing this for you and you alone

And although I can’t control what you dream

I know when you fall asleep you’re thinking of me



This is coming so easily

But sleep must inevitably end

So when daylight breaks upon your face

Do not mourn over what you lost

Just remember the feeling you had

So when it does come true you’ll know what to expect



I’m not all that good with words, I know that Dear

But I know if I stopped trying I’d eventually regret it

So here it is, I love you, there you go I finally said it

But when you wake will you even remember it

If you forget, I’ll remind you

If you don’t, you’ll know it’s true

That’s how love works when two truly become one
