Night time is cold

The daytime brings no light

Is it all you thought it should be

Or did you think somewhere somehow it’d be more



Well I’ll take your silence

As everything that’s meant to be said

Slowly crumbles between my heart and my head

Now I know why you lied to me

Didn’t want me to be dead inside like you

But it’s a bit too late for that

I can’t take this following in your faded steps

So this time I will walk on by and never scream your name

It wouldn’t have changed your direction or day, forget it

Just never mind, should’ve never said it anyway
